We
will
have
a
picture
exhibition
and
food
booth
at
the
Farm
Barn
at
Shelburne
Farms
Harvest
Fest.
Vermont-made
candy
will
be
the
specialty
that
we
will
sell
along
with
bottled
water
and
kid
friendly
(healthy)
drinks.
Several
of
you
have
already
signed
up
to
make
rice
crispy
treats
–
thank
you
-
we
have
enough
now
for
that
category.
For
other
donations
–
can
you
make
fudge,
lollipops.
Or
if
you
are
friends
with
one
of
the
area
candy
companies,
you
could
ask
them
to
donate
to
our
cause.
(We
have
already
asked
Champlain
Chocolate.)

Colleen’s
office
in
Shelburne
(or
for
those
in
the
Charlotte/Ferrisburg
area
–
at
Linda’s
house
in
lower
Charlotte).

We
will
have
a
candy
wrapping
session
Friday,
September
14
at
the
Shelburne
Town
Center.
An
email
will
be
sent
next
week
to
confirm
the
time.

could
possibly
be

fun
than
wrapping
candy??

Norm
will
run
another
50-50
raffle.
He
had
good
success
at
Shelburne
Day!
•
Also,
you
are
welcome
to
help
out
with
the
booth
–
set
up,
talk
to
people,
help
sell,
clean
up.
An
hour
or
two
is
fun
and
you
will
see
many
people
you
know….please

the
time

could
help.
If
you

never
visited
the
Harvest
Fest
–
it
is
a
“chance
to
celebrate
autumnal
abundance
with
family
and
friends,
listen
to
marvelous
music,
enjoy
delicious
seasonal
foods,
visit
the
animals
in
the
farmyard”
etc.

This
is
a
Thank
You
event
for
all
of
the
Donors
and
Volunteers
who
are
involved
and/or
interested
in
the
Vermont
Hands
to
Honduras
–
Tela
program.
It
will
include:

picture
board
tables
and
Honduran
treasures

Shelburne
Day
Fundraiser,
August
18,
2007
•
Good
news
–
over
$700
was
raised.
This
was
only
possible
because
many
of
you
donated
delicious
baked
goods
to
sell.
Thank
you
H2H
volunteers
and
thank
you
Charlotte-Shelburne
Rotary.
•
The
H2H
booth
was
filled
with
scrumptious
homemade
baked
goods
which
sold
pretty
quickly!
The
bbq
corn
was
unbeatable,
McKenzie
hot
dogs
were
popular.
The
wind
was
a
little
brisk
but
the
rain
held
off,
and
it
was
a
fun
day.
Many
people
were
very
interested
in
the
program,
and
it
was
fun
that
so
many
already
know
about
H2H!

good
–
round
trip-
hovering
between
$425
to
$500.

be
traveling
to
Tela
from
October
20
to
approximately
November
3
to
confirm
and
set
up
the
projects.
Two
Physical
Therapists
will
join
them
to
work
and
train
at
the
Rehab
Center.
•
Hotel
rooms
at
Sherwood
are
being
reserved
for
the
January/February
’08
trip
during
their
October
20
stay.
Please

to
October
15.
